Delete your Leanbud account

You can delete your Leanbud account and all of its data at any time, either in the app or by emailing us.

In the app

• Open Leanbud and go to Settings → Delete account.
• Confirm. Your account and data are deleted straight away. This can't be undone.

Without the app

• Email help@leanbud.app with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address you signed up with.
• If you signed in with Apple or Google, tell us which, so we can find your account.
• We'll delete the account within 30 days and email you when it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your profile, goals and settings
• All food, water and weight entries and saved meals
• All meal and label photos
• Your push notification tokens

Copies in our backups are removed within 30 days.

What we keep

• Crash reports and usage statistics already collected, which aren't tied to your name or email, for up to 14 months.
• Records of past purchases kept by Apple, Google and our subscription provider RevenueCat, which are needed for billing. They're linked to an account ID, not your name or email.

If you have Leanbud Pro

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your Google Play or App Store account settings so you aren't charged again.
